Nuclear Projects Director (Construction)
A leading engineering and infrastructure organization is seeking an experienced Nuclear Projects Director to oversee large-scale construction and capital project delivery within regulated industrial environments.
This leadership role is responsible for directing complex projects from planning through execution while managing multidisciplinary teams, budgets, schedules, risk, procurement, and stakeholder coordination.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead major construction and infrastructure projects through all project phases
• Manage project scope, cost, schedule, quality, procurement, and risk
• Direct project managers, engineers, controls teams, and subcontractors
• Develop project execution strategies and oversee delivery performance
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, regulatory, and contractual requirements
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders
• Lead reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and operational planning activities
• Support cross-functional coordination and organizational alignment
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, Business, or related discipline
• 20+ years of experience in construction or industrial project delivery
• Proven leadership on large-scale infrastructure or nuclear projects
• Strong understanding of construction regulations, contracts, and risk management
• Experience managing high-value capital projects and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances
• Project Management certification considered an asset
