Nuclear Services Specialist
A global engineering and automation organization is seeking a Nuclear Services Specialist to support the operation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of automated tooling used in nuclear environments.
This role involves supporting reactor inspection, refurbishment, and maintenance systems while collaborating with engineering teams, technical personnel, and nuclear clients in highly regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Support maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of automated nuclear tooling
• Develop procedures, work packages, test plans, and technical documentation
• Coordinate maintenance activities, spare parts, logistics, and tooling readiness
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, reporting, and risk tracking
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause investigations for tooling and system issues
• Support field operations and technical services at nuclear facilities
• Ensure compliance with nuclear safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
• Engineering degree or technical diploma in mechanical, mechatronics, robotics, controls, or related field
• Experience with automated tooling, industrial systems, or nuclear maintenance environments
• Familiarity with nuclear quality standards and engineering codes
• Strong technical troubleshooting and communication skills
• Experience with software tools such as SolidWorks, SCADA, PLM, or Microsoft Office considered an asset
• Ability to obtain required nuclear site clearances and work in regulated environments
